Through the years since entering in the field of consumer electronic repair, I as Master technician have had the opportunity to work for many repair shops, most of which I have brought my experience into allowing them to add to their list of services they provide. As TV shops they basically stuck to that but when they learned that I possessed knowledge beyond that of a TV technician I was allowed to freestyle my repair activities. As time went on, the more I diversified my activities, the more I was able to increase the portfolio of equipment I could repair, and the services I could provide.

With the recent changes in the TV repair industry it has become more difficult for repair shops to employ technicians. This has given me the opportunity to put all of my skills to work for YOU.

TV repair is and always be the staple that allows any shop to function but I especially pride myself in the Audio repair aspect of the field. Ninety percent of audio repair is still component level troubleshooting which is the mark of any true electronic technician. Home Audio, Car Audio, and DJ Equipment repair.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Md I graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Technical Course), served 8 years as a cadet in Civil Air Patrol specializing in Ground Search and Rescue. I then served 9 years In the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Radar Technician. I then completed my A.A.S. degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. I have 30 years of overall component and board level electronic troubleshooting experience and training by numerous manufacturers of consumer electronic products such as Mitsubishi, Vizio, Philips, LG, Sony, Sanyo, Pioneer, and Funai to name a few.

James' TV and Audio Repair is the product of a changing industry that is in need of technicians that are able and willing to diversify and adapt to the changing world. I am ready for this new opportunity that has presented itself to me.
